Data Recovery
Data recovery is a process of rescuing data from damaged, failed, sabotaged or inaccessible storage media when it cannot be used to access data normally. Often data is being rescued from storage media’s such as hard disk drive, storage tapes, CDs, DVDs, RAID, and other storage media. This can be due to physical damage to the storage device or logical damage to the file system that prevents it from being accessible by the host operating system or computer BIOS. Anyone who owns a computer will experience the hardship of data loss. The causes behind data loss may vary, and may include human error, natural disaster, accidental file deletion, sabotage, software and hardware malfunctioning and viruses, along with many other factors which may result in loss of critical data. For many years, the need to recover data that has been lost or destroyed has made data recovery a very valuable asset. |
